Chicagoverse 025 - Death On The Autobahn (Greg Corner X Miguel Martin X Walter Flakus)

In an interview recorded backstage at Metro, Greg Corner, Miguel Martin, and Walter Flakus discuss their Kraftwerk cover band, Death On The Autobahn. The group performed as part of the evening's David Bowie tribute event, headlined by Bowie tribute act Sons of the Silent Age, featuring Chris Connelly (former Ministry, Pigface, and more), Matt Walker (former Smashing Pumpkins, Morrissey, and more), and more. The trio share how they got connected to the event through Walker, and their feelings on being involved with an evening celebrating the life of Bowie.

The group also previews what's on deck for each of them in 2016. For Martin, that includes more music on the way from his EchoDroides project. For Flakus, APD/MD/on-air at Chicago alt-rock station 101WKQX, that ranges from the station's upcoming PIQNIQ event and the summer music festival season, to new music with his group The Dreaming, and the twenty year anniversary of Flakus' former group Stabbing Westward's breakout record, Wither Blister Burn & Peel. Finally, Corner reveals details about a wave of Kill Hannah materials on the horizon, coming from that band's final shows at the end of 2016.
